Addy-isms {Volume 5}

It's getting harder and harder to keep up with the cute and funny things Addy says these days but I'm doing my best to get some of them down. We received Addy's 3 Year Photo Book in the mail the other day and it was so fun to read some of the things she had been saying alongside some of her photos. So, here is the latest edition of "Addy-sims:"

"Well, I was thinkin' about hooking my grocery cart up to my bike for my baby to ride in."

Addy pooped her pants then fell off the potty shortly after and hit her head on the tile.
"That tile is so rough! I'm just having a rough day!"

Pretending to drink coffee straight from her coffee pot:
"My stomach hurts. That coffee didn't make my stomach happy it made my tummy sad."

"Mmm... smells like chocolate and chapstick!"

"Easter, easter easter!
It's all about Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
It's all about JeeeeeeeSSSUUUUUSSSSSS!"

Riding her bike at the park, I could hear her singing this from the other side of the playground:
"Riding an orange bike, riding an orange bike, riding an orange bike...."

If you ask her what Remi should call her when he starts talking she'll answer with: "Silly goose."
She came up with that all on her own.

Oh ya know, just hanging out on top of her "castle" playing dress up for the first time and learning to chew gum. No big deal.

Friends at the zoo.

"I'm actually just going to sit here and take a little sun nap."

Girlfriends!

Strawberry milkshake after nap. She took two sips and decided she didn't like it. More for Momma.

Sweet girls at the zoo.

"So what's important when playing games? Having fun."

Wreck It Ralph Movie Night (I still have no idea what that movie is about)

First Blanket Fort

We just love our sweet girl and the way she loves to play.

Handsome Boys

Remington is Nine Months Old!

Remington turned nine months old yesterday.

We celebrated by taking a trip to the doctor's office for his nine month well check where he weighed in at 17lbs, 3 oz. He's 28 inches long and in the 15th percentile for weight, 35th percentile for height and the 70th percentile for his head circumference.

Looks like we have a tall, skinny and smart little guy on our hands.

I'm mixing some of his Easter photos in with this month's pictures. Remi is one active little guy and the photos I took yesterday, didn't turn out the way I would have liked.

Plus, I really like his Easter outfit and wanted to show it off. Isn't he handsome?

We got the go ahead from the Doctor yesterday to start giving him citrus, berries and baked goods. He had an orange for lunch yesterday and like most food items you put in front of him, he loved it. He also loves chicken and strawberries. Strawberries are currently his favorite and I've learned not to even get them out until he's eaten his other food. He tends to get a little crazy when he sees them.

We are so thankful for his healthy appetite.

Remi loves to play with balls. He says "ball" really well and chases them all over the house. If you put him down in the grass in the backyard to play with a ball, he will quickly make his way over to the concrete to play with the ball where it bounces. And then he will follow it all over the patio, scuffing up his little knees.

He's pulling up on furniture and cruising along the couches. He's not standing on his own but he does frequently crouch like the photo above.

After more than a month, his two top teeth are finally breaking through! Phew, it takes this kid forever to get those things in!

Happy Nine Months Buddy!

Five for Friday

1. You've been listening to Fernando Ortega while getting ready for work in the morning
2. You suggested I use my allowance to get some sundresses because I look good in them
3. You've shown maturity in the way you've received criticism lately
4. You said my "sleepy owl" turned out well
5. You enjoyed my dinner last night

P.S. I love you :)
