Sunday is Coming

I woke up this morning feeling anxious about the day ahead, frustrated with pregnancy and life in general and upset about the state of my heart these past 14 weeks.

We might not have had the perfect day but we spent it all at home, which has been unusual for us. And somewhere in the midst of Matt coming home early and making some delicious homemade raspberry limeade, I started seeing glimpses of God's grace towards me. It was in answered prayers of kiddos not being as sick as I thought and a lovely spring evening spent outside. We didn't make it to church for the Good Friday service tonight, but that's ok because….
Sunday is coming!

I'm so thankful for grace and Christ on the cross.

Isaiah 43:1-2

FEAR NOT for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you."

My Two Little Helpers

Thankful today for these sweet little helpers.

Remi made a huge mess the other day (nothing new) and sweet little Adelyne jumped up to help saying "I can clean it up Mom, Im a good helper."

Once again, Remi made a huge mess and he and Addy worked to gather to get it cleaned up. Matt gave instructions and then Addy said "Come on Remi, let's work together."

Love those two and their servant hearts.

Interruptions of Gratitude

I recently found this little gem on Pinterest.

Its now the screensaver on my phone, it's where I've taken the new name for the blog and it's what I have been striving to do when life seems to be closing in on me.

When I start to feel anxious, when things literally feel like they are closing in on me, I am trying trying to focus on Christ and not on my suffering.

In the past, the blog has been a place for me to document the little and bigs things going on in our family and I don't intend to change that, I do however plan on having more of an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving.

So today I am thankful for sweet family and friends who have gone above and beyond to help me this past month. Im thankful for a patient husband and although my kids have been fighting off colds, Im thankful for two beautiful healthy children.

Stay tuned for more interruptions of gratitude.
