Remington is 11 Months Old!

Our little guy is growing up, Remington turned 11 months old yesterday. His very first birthday is quickly approaching and we are excited to celebrate our sweet boy with friends and family.

Remi now has four teeth, his hair has lightened and grown over his ears.

He knows how to sign "please" and will often ask to be placed on the chair or couch and then smile proudly like he got up there himself, which might happen sooner than we'd like. He's climbs on most everything else, stairs or no obstacle for him and opening the screen door to the backyard is something he accomplished weeks ago.

It took a few weeks, but Remi finally learned how to enjoy blanket time. When he's ready to be done, he lets you know by throwing all his toys off the blanket and sometimes sneaking off to retrieve them then quickly crawling back before Mom sees. He's one smart little boy.

He's not a fan of books, sings along with us and tv shows, loves to wrestle and doesn't really like for anyone but Mom to put him to bed.

After attempting to walk and taking quite a few steps in a row, he's decided that crawling is really the way to go and we haven't seen him walk much lately.
 There's no hurry big guy!

Here are some other things Remi has been up to this month:

Remi's morning routine: throw open screen door, carefully maneuver outside and then repeat.

So much love for his cousins.

"Painting" with his sister. They had so much fun doing this the other day and both threw a fit when it was time to come in for lunch.

Big guy!

He loves to pretend to mix things with his spoon inside bowls and sometimes will even offer you some.

Happy 11 Months Wemibird! Can't believe you're almost one!

Six for Six

1. You bought me something non-traditional and super cute for our anniversary
2. You took Addy on several dates during our vacation.
3. A vacation to you, isn't a vacation from the kids
4. You're attracted to me
5. You're excited to teach Remi to be a man
6. When doing a project for a friend, you wouldn't be convinced to do something simple and easy, it had to be awesome.

Happy 6 Years!

I love you!

Remington is 10 Months Old!

Remington turned 10 months old last week.

"Mommy's Happy Camper"

We took a little vacay to Pagosa Springs last weekend, so his 10 month photos took place during an adventure to the river.

This little guy is all over the place and so close to walking. He took a few very small steps at the mall the other day but hasn't been successful since.

Remi likes to "help" his Dad get ready for work in the morning, he plays peek a boo and says "ba!" for boo. He's in a stage where he loves to put things in and out of boxes or baskets. He doesn't like pasta but could eat his weight in grapes and he thinks he's one of the big kids, crawling up slides and climbing up stairs.

He has four teeth....as you can see.

For the most part, he really is a happy camper and we're so thankful for our little wemibird.

Happy 10 Months Buddy!

Life in the 505 {Lately}

I've become an extremely lazy mommy blogger. But because I like to document our life via the blog, here's my way of catching on our life lately in photos.

Playing together

Sweet sleeping boy

Remi and his namesake

Love these guys

We found a bathroom with a seat just for Remi and a small potty and sink. Addy talked about for days.

He's starting to get a little too tall to play under the table.

Playing restaurant, love to see them playing together.

He thinks he's so big....

But he's still a baby.

Time to mow the grass.

Lil book worm

Maybe he thinks he's helping

I caught her chatting with her "friend Addy."

We spent a fun afternoon flying kites at the park until she let go and the kite went in someone's backyard.

She's either putting on a magic show or playing school.... always imagining something.

Addy-isms {Volume 5}

It's getting harder and harder to keep up with the cute and funny things Addy says these days but I'm doing my best to get some of them down. We received Addy's 3 Year Photo Book in the mail the other day and it was so fun to read some of the things she had been saying alongside some of her photos. So, here is the latest edition of "Addy-sims:"

"Well, I was thinkin' about hooking my grocery cart up to my bike for my baby to ride in."

Addy pooped her pants then fell off the potty shortly after and hit her head on the tile.
"That tile is so rough! I'm just having a rough day!"

Pretending to drink coffee straight from her coffee pot:
"My stomach hurts. That coffee didn't make my stomach happy it made my tummy sad."

"Mmm... smells like chocolate and chapstick!"

"Easter, easter easter!
It's all about Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
It's all about JeeeeeeeSSSUUUUUSSSSSS!"

Riding her bike at the park, I could hear her singing this from the other side of the playground:
"Riding an orange bike, riding an orange bike, riding an orange bike...."

If you ask her what Remi should call her when he starts talking she'll answer with: "Silly goose."
She came up with that all on her own.

Oh ya know, just hanging out on top of her "castle" playing dress up for the first time and learning to chew gum. No big deal.

Friends at the zoo.

"I'm actually just going to sit here and take a little sun nap."

Girlfriends!

Strawberry milkshake after nap. She took two sips and decided she didn't like it. More for Momma.

Sweet girls at the zoo.

"So what's important when playing games? Having fun."

Wreck It Ralph Movie Night (I still have no idea what that movie is about)

First Blanket Fort

We just love our sweet girl and the way she loves to play.
