An Eventful Weekend in the 575

We pulled into the 505 this morning at 6:30 am after an eventful weekend spent in Las Cruces with my family. It seems like we are always celebrating something and this weekend was no different. We started the weekend off right with a brunch to celebrate Nicole graduating with her Master's in Education.

It was a beautiful sunny morning, perfect for sitting out on the patio, but a bit warmer than we are used to in Albuquerque.

We got to visit our Alamador where both Matt and I graduated. Go Aggies!! This was the most painless graduation I've ever attended. After Nicole received her degree, instead of heading back to her seat, she just kept walking right out the door. We of course, quickly followed, thankful to not have to watch the remaining 200 hundred people walk across the stage.

The Graduate, so proud of you Aunt Nic!

Cute couple by the duck pond, how come I never hung out there when I was in school? It's so pretty!

On Saturday night, we attended the rehearsal dinner for our good family friends who were getting married the next day at our favorite restaurant, Lorenzo's. Yum! In between events and Addy's feedings, we were able to squeeze some family hang out time in. We skipped church the next day and had a low-key Mother's Day celebration with pizza and cupcakes.

 Happy Mother's Day Mamaw!

To wrap up our fun filled weekend, we attended a beautiful wedding held in our good friends backyard. The whole thing was just lovely! Not only did the grooms parents host close to 100 people in their home, but his Dad also led the ceremony.

 Such a cutie!

 BEAutiful!

Phew! It was a fun weekend but it's going to take us a couple days to recover. These things are just a little bit more exhausting with a newborn, but super fun.

P.S. What do you think of my little blog makeover?
