Remington is 2 Months Old!

Mr. Remington turned two months old yesterday on the same day his cousin Tate celebrated his very first Birthday. Happy Birthday Tate!

You may notice that Mr. Blue Monkey is missing from this month's photo shoot. He somehow snuck into Addy's room and is currently being held captive there. Just kidding, we took these pictures during Addy's nap and there was no way I was going to sneak in there to get him.

Even without the comparison to Mr. Blue Monkey, I can still tell Remi has grown. His well check isn't until this Thursday so we'll see how much he's grown then. He's pretty much only wearing three month clothes and some six month pj's.

It doesn't take too much to make this little guy smile and I'm pretty sure he giggled at me the other day.

He hardly ever has the googly-eye look anymore, like in the photo above, but the nickname "Googly-Bear" has stuck. Can you guess what Disney movie that's from?

He seems to get more and more handsome everyday and always attracts the ladies when we are out and about. This can be a good and bad thing. The other day a lady approached me at Target, asked the typical questions like how old and what his name was. When I told her his name, she asked what his nickname was. She didn't seem to like my answer and asked what he would be called when he's older. Um... Remi? Remington? "Nope, that's too long. Probably Rem."

And people wonder why we keep our names a secrete.

Check out those beautiful eye lashes.

Remi loves to snuggle on shoulders. We hardly ever carry him like a normal baby because he hates it. I'm thinking he may have some tummy issues but really what baby doesn't? He's not a fan of tummy time but is pretty good at holding his head up. Surprisingly, he's also not a fan of the paci. I've given up on offering it to him and it actually makes life a little easier not having to keep up with those things.

He tends to be either super happy or super grumpy from seven to nine pm. But after he eats at nine, we don't hear a peep from him until six or six thirty in the morning. He's a great sleeper which probably has something to do with being a bigger baby? My new advice for expecting Mother's is to load up on milkshakes. You might not be able to wear a bikini ever again but you'll get nine straight hours of sleep two months after delivery. Ha!

That's probably the worst advice ever because all I really know about babies is that everything can and will change. You think your baby is sleeping through the night and then they get a tooth and you have to start all over again.

For now, I'm enjoying my sleep and trying to find ways to burn off all those milkshakes I consumed during pregnancy.

Happy two months Mister Remington!
