Yesterday was sweet Adelyne's 6 month Birthday.
Six months
Yikes!
This month's photos weren't my favorites. It was a gloomy (yet beautiful) day here in the 505, as is today and my half-a-year-old baby doesn't like to sit still for very long. So, we ended up with a lot of dark blurry photos.
Addy is such a busy little girl. She's growing, rolling, talking, laughing and sitting up! But as you can see by the photos below, not quite long enough for me to snap a photo that's not blurry.
At 6 months, Addy is taking two and a half a naps a day. Just this week, I was feeling a little frustrated that her third nap wasn't lasting as long and then I read in Babywise II that at this age, most Babywise babies will take two naps and a cat nap later in the afternoon. No way! Addy actually did something by the book! It went on to say that they should also be sleeping 10 to 12 hours through the night. Ya right!
To be honest, I really don't mind the late night feedings. It's kind of a sweet time. She eats quickly and falls asleep on my shoulder as I burp her. There isn't anything much sweeter than a baby sleeping on your shoulder.
Addy is such a joy.
She loves her toys, (especially Mr. Monkey) snuggling with Dad, laughing with Mom and playing with her friends. It's so fun to see how her and her little buddies interact now. What a blessing to be surrounded with so many little ones for her to grow up with.
This is a such a fun stage with our sweet little girl, as each stage has been.

She is ADORABLE!! I think the pictures turned out too cute - especially with that sock monkey :)
She is just beautiful! and i love that monkey I actually just saw a cute baby halloween costume to dress up like that monkey, if your in search of a costume :)
